Glashedy Island 1


Glashedy Island is a large rock jutting out of the sea off Pollan Bay, where many boats have gone aground over the centuries. Pollan Strand is a two mile long sandy beach at the foot of the hill leading to the village of Ballyliffin on the Inishowen peninsula of County Donegal.
